RPG Stress Test is an actual play podcast where members of the DSM crew get together and ruin various RPG systems by running one-shot campaigns with idiotic settings and even dumber characters. New episodes are released every two weeks!
Follow the gang on social media and stay up-to-date on all our related content, fan contests, giveaways, and merchandise!

Each week brings a new system, a new group, and new hijinx! Below are just a few of the systems we have rigorously tested with our stupidity!
Lost Tapes
M.E.R.C.s
This week we travel to Newland City as a bunch of delinquent cyberpunk mercenaries on a mission to retrieve a crate of tapes. We're stresstin' out M.E.R.C.s by Wolfhound RPGs, the best system to do exactly that! Even better, we have one of the creators guest DMing our adventure.
Cool Skunkles
Badger + Coyote
This week we find ourselves making Stress Test history as we play our first two-player RPG. Badger + Coyote is a GM-less duet game that allows each player to take on the roles of a Badger and a Coyote, an unlikely adventuring duo with tendencies of miscommunication. We luckily become two of the coolest skunk dads in the process and get to kick the shit out of a bobcat.
Fistful of Kobolds
Stoneburner
A mine full of wonders awaits this gang of dwarven street urchins who got to stake a claim after their employee had an unfortunate accident.
DSM4/20
We Hardly Knew Ye
The Dead Set Gang finds out what it's like to be the faceless mooks who get slaughtered by the heroic protagonist. We Hardly Knew Ye rewards the players with backstory and punishes them with rapid-fire character creation. Thanks again to Caravansary for creating an entire one-page RPG off of a silly suggestion. This is one for the history books.
Straight to Hell
Hellfire Trading Co.
On this episode of RPG Stress Test, the gang gets into a pickle as they're sent to the depths of hell to deal with all sorts of satan-spawn and evilry! We're testing out Hellfire Trading Co., a game about working a typical 9 to 5 where you fight demons for profit! It's also a Weird West setting. Did we mention that? There's cowboys and shit. Let's go!
